Metal Fascia, the modern, good looking economic alternative to timber, forms part of a total system of rainwater goods such as Roof and Wall Cladding, Gutter, Capping, and Down pipe but can be used with any type of roof and gutter system. It is straight, true, shrink and warp proof and is made from an Aluminium/zinc alloy coated steel which gives years of life. Metal Fascia is used as both Fascia and Barge and is mounted on adjustable pressed steel brackets using a very simple fixing method.

Cost Savings

Metal Fascia is continuously roll formed from 48 high tensile coil steel and therefore has low initial cost. Labor savings in erection time are also made because the rafters do not require trueing and the Metal Fascia is quickly and easily installed. Because of the protective coating there is very little cost involved in maintaining Metal Fascia as it lasts years without being touched.

Protection

Zincalume® and Pre-Painted Zincalume® coated steel provides the best protection from the environment and gives long life to any building.

Soffit Application

Metal Fascia is installed exactly level and the height and distance from the wall can be adjusted so that standard width Soffit Lining can be used without any trimming. The groove in the rear of the Metal Fascia is used to retain the outer edge of the Soffit Lining and thus there is no trim piece required.

Gutter Application

Gutter brackets for Square or Quad Gutter can be easily attached to the front face of Metal Fascia either by sliding the bracket tongue through the raised slots and bending over at the correct height, or by screwing or blind riveting in position. Gutter fall can easily be allowed by sloping the line of brackets along the Metal Fascia.

Maximum Support Spacing

Metal Fascia shall be supported by a bracket at every rafter or at a maximum of 1200mm between brackets.

Compatibility

Lead flashings and copper or copper alloy materials should not be used with or in run-off situations with Zincalume® sheeting.

Sealing

Zincalume® coated or pre-painted materials cannot be soldered and to seal a suitable sealant and mechanical fasteners must be used.
